More..

The aim of this survey is to nourish an inclusive and evidence-based dialogue on business concerns related to investment climate. We look for evidence on three main areas of fiscal policies (i) tax audit, (ii) value-added tax refund and (iii) informality. This survey has a special focus on the private sector and Local Government Units relations.

Since 2015, this is the fourthround of the survey being conducted by the Secretariat, for the purpose of enabling dynamic analysis of how fiscal and anti-informality measures have impacted the investment climate. Survey findings will be subject of discussion at the next meeting of the Investment Council. The recommendations adopted by the Investment Council will be submitted to the Albanian Government for further consideration. This can bring potential legal and regulatory changes or revisions with impact on the investment climate.

Deadline for completing the questionnaire is 30 August 2019.

Investment Council is supported by the Ministry of Finance and Economy, the EBRD and the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO)
