The Secretariat discusses Survey’s preliminary findings on Tax Administration and Informality with business representatives

TIRANA, October 5 – The Secretariat of Albania Investment Council held a focus group meeting with representatives of business associations and fiscal experts to discuss the preliminary findings of the Survey “On some Aspects of Investment Climate” conducted by the Secretariat during July – September 2017. The survey’s objective is to mark the progress on some main business concerns, mainly related to “Tax Audit and the Relationship with Tax Administration”, “Informality” and “VAT Refund”, making reference also to the respective findings of the Secretariat on these subjects during 2015-2016.
Representatives from local and foreign chambers of commerce, private companies, experts in the area as well as representatives from the tax administration discussed these preliminary findings and made some suggestions to the Secretariat to be reflected in the final version to be discussed in the upcoming meeting of the Investment Council.
