Linking Academia with Entrepreneurship – Memorandum of Understanding signed with UET

In the framework of linking Academia with Entrepreneurship, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between European University of Tirana and Investment Council in June 2017. This initiative is based on one of the decisions that the Investment Council took in 2016 to involve young researchers in certain economic and judicial areas affecting the private sector. The first Memorandum of Understanding was signed with EPOKA University on 31 March 2017. In her speech at the Investment Council Meeting on 9 May 2017, the Chair of Investment Council, Minister Milva Ekonomi said: “The demand to perform research on issues related to the economy is coming as a growing awareness by those in the academic world, especially students in the master level.”
The objective of these memoranda of understanding between the Investment Council and the Albanian universities is to closely cooperate for the exchange of research data, debate opinions and potential recommendations including economic analysis; organise conferences, cooperate in mutual publications, etc.
